Why Go: Probably one of the best-known tourist attractions in the town of Knysna is The Heads. These are two sandstone columns separating the calm waters of the Knysna lagoon from the sometimes wild waves of the Indian Ocean and creating a funnel for the sea to rush through. The views are from here are spectacular.
