Why Go: Lake Union Park is a beautiful waterfront park that is minutes away from downtown. There are plenty of activities at the park for children to engage in and the harbor is a major launching point for yachts so there's always something to watch on the horizon. The parks department closed the bridge access in 2014 so you'll need to enter from the path to the south.
