Why Go: The Site covers a dozen dolomitic limestone caves containing the fossils of early forms of animals, plants and most significantly hominids. The Site is 2.3 billion years old. Seven of the 12 sites have hominid fossils and is, therefore one of the world's richest concentrations of fossil hominid bearing sites.
